Leo Koorhan

Leo Koorhan

Leo Koorhan was trained at the Atlantic School of Acting through NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. He has also trained at the Yale School of Drama and The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He has most recently starred in an original off broadway play "Death by Schooling" at the Theatre Center, and can be heard on the podcast LGBTDND released on spotify. Leo is currently producing his next play "Branching Out" which will be presented at The Tank, a home for emerging artists in the next few months. Maymi studied at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre and Black Nexxus (Susan Batson Studio).

Jake McMichael

Jake McMichael

Jake McMichael is an actor, writer, and director born in Baltimore, MD and based in Brooklyn, NY. Jake has acted in a number of shows at the American Theatre of Actors since 2019, including Heracles, Cyclops, and Shakespeare in Concert. He directed two shows at the ATA in 2021: “My Motor Won't Work,” written by Richard D. Auman; and “Alcoholic Drama,” written by Tommy LeVrier. He is ecstatic to be back on stage after an extended hiatus.

The Playwright

Playwright Bill McGee

Bill McGee

Bill McGee is a playwright and fiction writer residing in New York City. “Reasons” is the third play he’s written and produced. In September 2019, the bittersweet love story “Smoosh” was successfully performed at The Producer’s Club and in 2017 the original rock musical “On Our Own” was staged at the 777 Theater in Manhattan. An NYU graduate, Bill studied in their creative writing program and was Managing Editor of the University literary magazine, “Minetta Review”.

The Director

Addison DeWitt

Addison DeWitt is an international experimental director and is excited to work with the team on this production. A huge supporter of popup theatre, puppetry and Theatre of the Oppressed, Addison has worked with La MaMa and has also directed an adaptation of "No Exit".
